Home / How We Operate

Thorough inspections. Permanent solutions. No shortcuts.

At Big Sky Wildlife Management, we don't believe in quick fixes. Every project begins with a comprehensive inspection of the entire structure to identify every active and potential wildlife entry point we can access — not just the obvious one.

Once we've documented our findings, you receive a detailed report with photos, recommended repairs, and a clear estimate. We explain what we found, why it's happening, and how we'll solve it.

Our work focuses on permanent structural exclusion, not temporary trapping. We use humane, effective methods that keep wildlife out by addressing the source of the problem, and every repair is built to last using professional materials and proven techniques — backed by a written workmanship warranty on the areas we repair.

From the initial inspection to the final walkthrough, we prioritize clear communication, honest recommendations, and quality craftsmanship. We treat every home and business as if it were our own.

The six-step process

1

Schedule an inspection

We begin with a professional inspection rather than guessing from a phone description. Inspections are typically scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, subject to route and seasonal workload.

2

Inspect the entire structure

We evaluate the property from foundation to roofline, documenting animal evidence, active entry points, potential vulnerabilities, damage, and the conditions contributing to the problem.

3

Receive a written report

After the inspection you receive photographs, findings, recommended corrective work, and a clearly defined estimate. We explain what is active, what is preventative, and what should be prioritized.

4

Approve the scope

No repair deposit is required until the report has been delivered and you approve the work. Approved projects are then placed into the repair schedule.

5

Resolve and exclude

We remove or evict wildlife using species-appropriate and seasonally legal methods, then repair the approved entry points with professional-grade materials.

6

Document the completed work

You receive completion documentation and warranty terms applicable to the repaired areas.
